Yuba Sutter Connection Welcomes League Bowlers!
Greetings Bowlers!
Spring is here and it’s time to clean the bowling balls and get them ready for the winter season’s finales.
Most winter leagues finish in April or early May, and many have fun sweepers at the end. It’s been a great
winter with a new Queen crowned in April and successful women’s and open city tournaments in
February and March.
Now it’s time to get ready for summer bowling! Summer leagues begin in May, and they are a great way to
relax and work on your game. If your hook has disappeared, now is the time to find where it’s gone.
It’s also a great time to get new equipment and break it in, so you are prepared for the 2008 – 2009
winter leagues.
There are all kinds of summer leagues, day and evening, adult and youth, to fit anyone’s lifestyle,
and most run about 10 to 15 weeks. It’s easy to sign up, and you will find it’s fun to bowl in the
summer!
So, have fun, go bowling, and throw lots of strikes!
